
Michael moved to Knoxville from Little Rock, Arkansas, where he led the Worship Ministry of Fellowship Bible Church for nine years, then joined the staff of Fellowship in July of 2008. He and his wife, Sherry, have been married for 33 years and have three children: Jennifer, a teacher at an international school in Cairo, Egypt; Erin, living in Knoxville, and Hannah, who lives in Little Rock with her husband Dustin and daughter, Sophia. Michael has served as the worship pastor or churches in South Carolina, Texas, California, and Arkansas for the last twenty-eight years, and has also taught at The Master’s College in Santa Clarita, CA as an adjunct instructor in music, worship ministry and administration. He is a past writer and contributor to Worship Leader magazine, and has served several Christian publishers as music editor and transcriber, studio musician/contractor, and arranger. His overarching passion is leading and connecting people to God through worship, and helping move people from “Who am I?” to “Here am I!” by encountering the living God.
