Gwyn’s focus here at Fellowship is to come alongside staff, volunteers and parents to point their children to Jesus, and brings over 40 years of ministry experience to Fellowship’s Children’s Ministry department. In 1971, Gwyn graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BS in education. Her graduate courses have included Bible, Faith Development, Recreation and Learning Theory. Recent continuing education has included the National Children’s Ministry Conference, training by Dr. Larry Crabb, Caps Southeast, Youth Specialties, and First Aid. Her experience includes certified Christian Educator for the Presbyterian Church since 1976, family minister, camp program director, Christian educator, youth director, speaker and author. In addition to her role here at Fellowship Church, Gwyn helped to start Great Escape Junior High Camp at Southwinds in Ocala, FL. Gwyn is married to Clyde Baker with whom she has four adult children: Travis, Mindy, Ginny and Rachel. They are also the proud grandparents to 7 grandchildren. Gwyn loves the outdoors; hiking, biking, kayaking, and camping. She’s been a runner for 30 years and has run 3 marathons.
