Preston was born in Atlanta, GA and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado. After graduating from Colorado State University in 1989 with a business management degree, he relocated to Birmingham, AL where he met and married his wife, Carla. He received an MBA from Samford University while in Birmingham. Preston accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior in 1980 while attending a junior high youth group. He has a heart for discipleship and participates or leads men’s Bible studies, small groups, and accountability partnerships. Preston is participating in a Christian Leadership Concepts group and is a volunteer in student ministries at Fellowship. Preston enjoys time with Carla and his two kids Caroline and Benton, working out, biking, boating, music, his dog, public speaking, and reading.
