Last week you gave
- $64,539 towards the Fellowship Ministry Budget
- $1,085 towards Building and Capital Improvement
- $8,650 towards Short-term Mission Trips
Giving so far this year through June 1, 2008
- $1,361,270 for Ministry Budget. 2008 target for 6/1 - $1,375,920
- $21,747 for Building & Capital Impr’. 2008 goal is $31,200
- $37,269 for Short-term Mission Trips. 2008 goal is $97,000
Giving Needs for June 2008
- $66,314 average per week for the five Sundays in June
Fellowship Family,
Each year the Fellowship Church congregation gives, beyond the weekly
operations budget, thousands of dollars toward Short-term Missions
Trips around the world. To be specific, this year’s annual commitment
to Short-Term Missions beyond the budget is $194,000. Exactly 50%
of that amount is raised through support letters and team fund-raising.
The other 50% comes from designated Missions giving. This number is
represented in the weekly financial update in the bulletin. You will note
from this week’s report that thus far in 2008 we have received $37,269 toward our Short-term Mission giving goal of $97,000
We choose this multi-pronged approach to missions funding in order
to involve the whole congregation in the annual missions endeavors
of Fellowship Church, on both corporate and individual levels. Please
prayerfully make your contribution to the ministry of the gospel around
the world, by responding to support letters sent by our adults and students
and giving above your regular weekly tithes to the designated
missions fund. In this way, we all-TOGETHER-serve the world with the
grace and truth of Jesus Christ.
