2008 Ministry Spending Plan
Guille Cruze gave an excellent summary of the 2008 Ministry Spending Plan last Sunday. Next week everyone who is listed as having contributed to the church since July 2006 will be mailed a detailed explanation of the 2008 Spending Plan. This explanation gives the priorities for the church in 2008, discusses some of the factors we looked at in arriving at an estimate of giving, and talks about the different ministry needs. In a separate mailing every member will receive a ballot to cast their vote on this Plan. We ask you to prayerfully seek God’s wisdom in making your decision about the Plan and in deciding how God is calling you to contribute from the resources He has provided. Please email or call Steve Luper, Church Business Administrator at sluper@fefc.com or 470-2820, ext 110 if you have any questions.
There are only six weeks remaining in the year to close the gap in giving for short-term mission trips and the Habitat for Humanity house. Please consider making a contribution above your regular tithe and offering to fund these important missions and outreach projects of the church.
