Capital Improvements Update

If you’ve been around the church the last few weeks you could not help but notice the transition that our green roof has undergone. After fourteen years of weathering the roof was showing significant rusting. While we ‘ve never experienced any related leaks, if left to continue, the rust would have eventually caused permanent damage. So from green with brown rust spots to green with white primer and finally to a new surface of flat green bonding sealer. The project lacks only to be inspected and a warranty issued before we call it complete.
Payments for this work were made using Operations reserves which we need to replenish. Your contributions to the Capital Improvements Fund will help make this possible.
