This Sunday is our second Sunday of SummerQuest 2007! We are having a lot of fun as we dive into the story of Esther. One way we have fun is with games that help our children connect their learning to their lives. So, what’s happening this Sunday? Esther gets her crown! And we’ll find out how! Come to large group this Sunday prepared to watch the queen-to-be get an amazing beauty treatment! She’ll answer questions about how she came to be the favored one of King Xerxes, and we’ll see how God was making it all happen. And, um, we may need some volunteers to stick around after and help us clean up the sticky, goopy makeup and mousse mess.
Family Worship
A central piece of Summer Quest 2007 is Family Worship. As a church committed to the process of building disciples of Jesus Christ, Fellowship Church wants to make this summer a time when we present families with an opportunity each Sunday to worship together. Parents are by far the most powerful influence on their children’s spiritual development, and it is vitally important that your children are present with you in worship. We want you to model worship to them, and that is what Family Worship is all about. Family Worship takes place first service (starting at 9:15am) in the Worship Center. Please make plans to attend with your elementary-aged children.
