This Sunday: SummerQuest-Blue Party & Family Worship!

Blue Party!
This Sunday kicks off SummerQuest 2007! We plan to have a lot of fun as we dive into the story of Esther, and one way we’ll be having fun is with games that will help our children connect their learning to their lives. Our game this Sunday will take place in each classroom. It’s a contest to see who’s wearing the most blue (a royal color in the Persian empire). Please be sure that your child is wearing a lot of blue stuff! This can include items like blue swim goggles, blue fake teeth, vests, capes, or pretty much anything else that is not a toy weapon. So be creative and have fun! Your kids sure will!
Family Worship
A central piece of Summer Quest 2007 is Family Worship. As a church committed to the process of building disciples of Jesus Christ, Fellowship Church wants to make this summer a time when we present families with an opportunity each Sunday to worship together. Parents are by far the most powerful influence on their children’s spiritual development, and it is vitally important that your children are present with you in worship. We want you to model worship to them, and that is what Family Worship is all about. Family Worship takes place first service (starting at 9:15am) in the Worship Center. Please make plans to attend with your elementary-aged children.
