Membership

At Fellowship, membership is not roll call, but rather disciples on a journey. Biblically, membership is definedas a community of disciples living life together as followers of Jesus Christ. We seek to honor that by not ‘claiming’ members through transfer or attendance, but through a voluntary process of involvement, reflection, and dialogue about your life and spiritual journey in Christ. In addition, we provide appropriate study tools and experiences that convey the core foundations of faith and practice at Fellowship Church.

Three Steps to becoming a member at Fellowship

  • Work through a personal reflective Bible study called 21 Big Ideas.
  • Attend a Discover Fellowship seminar to learn more about Fellowship
  • Engage in a brief Covenant Conversation with a member of our pastoral staff at which time we’ll listen to your testimony, ask a few simple questions, and allow you time to ask questions of us.  You will be asked to sign our Membership Covenant.

Why such an involved process?
Amassing crowds, constructing buildings, even reaching the lost – none of these serve their ultimate purpose unless people mature as believers and follow Christ in everyday life.  This is ultimately the Kingdom agenda, and what it means to be a member of Fellowship Church – to “glorify God by pursuing the Christ-life and engaging the world!” Consequently, the membership process reflects this core value of intentional spiritual growth, development, and involvement.
