Elder Board & Administrative Board
Elder Board
Fellowship Church is an elder-led church, so they provide spiritual and doctrinal oversight for the congregation of Fellowship Church. Our elders also function as our board of directors under the bylaws of Fellowship Church. Our Senior Pastor, Rick Dunn, is the only FEFC staff member who’s also an elder.
Here’s a list of active elders:
Lee Bell: Treasurer
bell1908@comcast.net; 922.1029
Lee met his wife, Joyce, when they were both students at the University of Tennessee. In 1966, following graduation, Lee enlisted in the Army and was married to Joyce in 1967. Shortly after their marriage they transferred to Germany where Lee served as a Transportation Officer and Joyce taught in a military school. After being discharged from the Army in 1969, they resettled in Knoxville where Lee started his career in banking and Joyce taught school for Knox County. They have two daughters and seven grandchildren. Currently, Lee works for a local bank as manager of their trust department. Joyce took “early retirement” from teaching and now devotes her time to family and as a volunteer for Fellowship’s children ministry. Faith and Christian service has always been central to their marriage. While they were students at UT they volunteered in their church’s inner city ministry and many of their “dates” were spent chaperoning student activities. They are excited about Fellowship Church, especially its serious commitment to discipleship training.
